SUMMER SCHOOL - “DISCOVER KAZAKHSTAN: THE COUNTRY IN THE HEART OF EURASIA”

Abstract

Suleyman Demirel University invites students to participate in Summer School - “Discover Kazakhstan: The Country in the Heart of Eurasia”. This Summer School encompasses three components: lectures, Kazakh language classes and excursions. During the Summer School a variety of teaching formats will be used. The sessions will be conducted in the form of classical lectures, workshops, round tables, field trips and excursions in order to impart and enhance active interaction and that will enable participants get to know their fellow students and have fun during their stay at SDU.

 

This summer school is targeted at advanced undergraduate and graduate students including doctoral students from the fields of:

  • Philology
  • Humanities
  • Social sciences (anthropology, sociology, ethnology, Turkic studies….)
  • Journalism
  • Translation
  • And other relevant fields of cultural studies

    Nadežda Stojković, PhD, Assistant Professor, Lecturer of English Language, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš, Serbia.

    Main areas of interest and research: English for Specific and Academic Purposes, academic writing,  relationship between language and identity, literature.
